Ralph James Innes

Ralph James Innes, 95, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away February 1, 2016 in the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center.

Mr. Innes was born October 27, 1920 in Covington, Ky.  He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge 209 in Poplar Bluff.  Mr. Innes served in the U. S. Army during World War II.

On January 9, 1948 he married Freda Marie Hanks, in Butler County, Mo.  She preceded him in death September 15, 2008.

Survivors include his children, Ralph Paul Innes, Cheryl Bridgewater (Tim), Michael Innes (Kelley), Charlotte Gregory (Larry) and Karen Innes; eight grandchildren, Scott Paul Innes, Ralph Leroy Innes, Eric Thomas Bridgewater, Shane Paul Bridgewater, Derrick Michael Innes, Stephanie LeeAnn Innes “Skelton”, Brandon Lee Alsup and Jared Blake Alsup; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Edward George Innes and Estelle Frances Innes; his brothers, Leroy Earl Innes, Paul Francis Innes and Earl Edward George Innes Jr.; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Innes; one granddaughter, Lisa Baggett.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  The Rev. John Harwell will officiate.  Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
